2013 - Where do I go from Yale?

Please join us for the Graduate School Alumni Association’s third annual career mentoring workshop for students in all stages of graduate study -- from first year to fifth year or more!

This workshop showcases a variety of career paths taken by graduate school alumni, in academia and beyond, in order to help graduate students at all levels think creatively about turning their PhDs into meaningful careers. Alumni will share their experiences working in cultural, international, and governmental institutions as well as research, industry, and academia. Each session will emphasize practical advice and will allow plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

10 am - 4:15 pm

One transdisciplinary panel will feature seasoned alumni at the top of their careers and a second will be led by younger alumni who have more recently navigated into their first jobs after Yale. New this year is a luncheon at the Union League Cafe, where students will be seated at tables with alumni who share mutual career interests. In addition, four informal breakout sessions will be held simultaenously on different topics.
